Impartial advice

One of our primary jobs is to provide you with impartial advice about the chartering choices you face. We don’t work for any charter management company or individual boat owner. Charter boats require extensive and costly maintenance, and boat crews vary in temperament and in the types of charter they enjoy. We will tell you the truth about both.

Handling your money

We will handle your funds with the utmost care. There are strict guidelines concerning when funds are to be released to the charter boat or management company. All funds will be placed in a trust account until they are released. Although charter contracts are written favoring the charter company or boat, we will act on your behalf to protect you as much as possible within the limits of the charter contract.

Knowledge of the Boats and Crews

There are many choices of boats and they are located throughout the world. Each year we visit the primary charter yacht shows and actually board each boat. We meet the crew and make extensive observations about the condition of the boat and the characteristics of the crew. You can feel comfortable that we know the boats we recommend to you.

Matching you with the right boat

The most important ingredient in the success of your crewed charter is matching you with a crew you will enjoy and feel comfortable with. It is actually true that a great crew can compensate for a so-so boat, but the opposite is not true. Before your charter, we will ask you to fill out a preference sheet describing your likes and dislikes in food, activities and interests. We will also spend a great deal of time on the phone with you getting to know you. Once we feel we know what you are looking for, we will recommend several boats and help you choose the one that will make you happiest.
